2020 marked the end of the Holocene period. 2021 will mark the beginning of the Anthropocene period, where the effects of the human inpact on the environment will be increasing. As you know, for the first time in the history of the planet, the mass of human built infrastructure exceeded the earth's biomass in late 2020. What came to mind in late 2019 was the Federal Reserve having to ail out the repo market following a spike in the overnight lending rate due to a liquidity issue. Thus we were expecting an economic collapse to occur before the pandemic began. I predicted correctly that an economic collapse would begin in 2020. I just didn't know that a pandemic would accompany it. The economic collapse was going to occur anyway whether or not we had a pandemic. We are in a fourth turning that is different from all the others because it coincides with the Limits to Growth theory (states collapse happening in 2030-2050), an 1857.6 year cycle in the Armstrong model (which states collapse happens around 2032), and the peak oil that occured in 2019.
