Canada is not immune to the things that America is experiencing now. The country has been experiencing the effects of austerity measures that have been imposed dating back to the 1990s, and this includes increases in poverty. In the last decade, Saskatchewan has been seeing fascist governments coming to power in the early half, with Alberta, Ontario and Quebec doing so in the latter half. As long as the latter 3 provinces keep electing fascist governments, the entire country will turn Trumpist.
