In addition to the Democratic Party, we will also need to elect a lot of Green Party representatives and senators to prevent the GOP from gaining a majority in congress. The Democratic Party is only meant to be temporary and is not going to be able to help us out of the crisis the country is currently in. We will need to elect a majority Green Party house and senate in order to resolve this crisis, because they are the only party that can save us. Although HR1 is intended to save our democracy, it includes certain elements that actually make the process more autocratic. Those elements must be removed from the final version of HR1 which must be passed in both houses. The Democratic Party has no intention of removing the autocratic elements of HR1 from the bill.
