Regarding the first way in which the world isn't getting better, here are the three main reasons why democratic decline is one of them. The first reason is that the fiat monetary system that was created in the 1970s has resulted in an increase of government debt over the past 50 years. The 2008 financial crisis caused a major increase in government debt, whch required austerity measures to be put into place in order to address the debt. Those austerity measures caused public health and social services to be cut by countries where 85% of the global population is based. The second reason for the democratic decline is the depletion of resources that cause the economy to function properly. Since the fiat monetary system got adaped, there have been reports that the way that people are consuming resources at a rapid rate will cause major populaton growth until the second third of the 21st century, when a major decline in the population will begin. The third reason for this democratic decline was the stagnation and the decrease of the minimum wage in many countries after the closing of the gold window. This results in fiscal policy being loosened in order to support the treasury. According to the Tytler Cycle, democracies collapse as a result of too loose fiscal policy, and they are followed by dictatorships then monarchies.
