The 1993 release of the video game Doom marked the beginning of the increase in mass shootings that led America to enact a assault weapons ban that was endorsed by president Bill Clinton in 1995. The ban failed to prevent mass shootings such as the Columbine disaster in April 1999, and as a result the Supreme Court struck down the ban in 2004. The striking down of the ban resulted in an increase in mass shootings that started after the 2008 financial crisis, but really took off after the collapse of the repo market in September 2019 that predated the coronavirus pandemic five months later. https://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-level-of-evil-in-our-society-is-off-the-charts/
