The GOP will lose the 2024 election's popular and electoral votes. What is expected to happen after that, however, is that a GOP House and Senate, along with GOP election boards in many states, will work together to decertify the election results, thus resulting in a contingent election being initiated. With the GOP controlling 29 to the Dems 21, they will be declared the winning party of the election. Trump is expected to be the GOP nominee at the time, and he will thhen immediately launch a military coup on the country, deposing all of the Dems who voted against him. Elections will be suspended until the next regularly scheduled election in 2028, which will bebthe first to occur under Executive Directive 51. Term limits that are served under this directive and the PEADs Trump intended to use do not count.
