The GOP will not be able to win the 2022 or 2024 elections by winning the popular vote.

America has one brief chance to forestall and reverse this vicious cycle of collapse. Just this one. There will not be another one. You know it in your gut, and your gut is right. If the Republicans take the government — House, Senate, Presidency — then all bets are off. America becomes a country like Russia, a place where critics are attacked, everyday people are abused violently, minorities are scapegoated, brutality rules, and any kind of attempt at true democracy is a distant memory.

The GOP will not be able to win the 2022 or 2024 elections by winning the popular vote. The only way that the GOP gains House and Senate seats is that most of those seats will be won by Democratic candidates in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin and a few other states only for GOP election boards and state legislatures to overturn the Democratic victories.
